Detailed Job Description:
The Marketing, Operations and Administrative
intern will work closely with the VP of Operations and the COO to build and
execute a detailed marketing strategy for our books and brands and to support
the overall office.
The ideal candidate will have creative talent, strong analytical skills and a passion for media and technology. It is imperative that the candidate be a team player, but he or she also must be independent and intrinsically motivated.
Job Functions:
• PR outreach to media connections and influencers.
• Social Media strategy and execution.
• Manage communication with authors and talent.
• Email marketing and strategy.
• Promotional event coordination and execution.
• Competitive research and keep up-to-date on industry trends.
• Social networking management and campaign building.
• Writing ad copy, implementing advertising campaigns.
• Creating promotional material.
• Researching prospective marketing strategies.
