FTP File Names

Creators

All files begin with the same pattern, codYYMMDD, where cod is our identifying code (i.e, B.C.'s code is bc, Rubes' code is rub) and YYMMDD is the release date of the file. Below are the additional identifiers we use for different file sizes and formats:

  • Sunday Comics
    • dCMP.jpg - Low-res JPG composite file, for web use.
    • d_sf.tif - Full Standard Black & White
    • d_sfc.tif - Full Standard Color
    • d_sh.tif - Half Standard Black & White
    • d_shc.tif - Half Standard Color
    • d_sq.tif - Quarter Standard Black & White
    • d_sqc.tif - Quarter Standard Color
    • d_st.tif - Third Standard Black & White
    • d_stc.tif - Third Standard Color
  • Daily Comics
    • d_s.tif - TIF line art, strip size
    • d_p.tif - TIF line art, panel size
    • dAPC.jpg - CMYK colored JPG, strip size
    • pAPC.jpg - CMYK colored JPG, panel size
    • dAPR.jpg - RGB colored JPG, strip size
    • pAPR.jpg - RGB colored JPG, panel size
    • dc.tif - CMYK colored TIF, strip size
    • pc.tif - CMYK colored TIF, panel size
  • Columns
    • .txt - Text column
    • adAP.jpg - First photo, hi-res JPG format
    • bdAP.jpg - Second photo, hi-res JPG format
