Creators.com wants to encourage our visitors to engage with columns that they read on our site, so we have enabled visitors to comment on each column that we post. However, in order to maintain a civil environment we have put the following guidelines in place:
- All comments are run through a set of spam and civility filters. Each comment must pass the automated filter check in order to be posted to the website. Things the filters reject include all URLs, some curse words, and many phrases found to be used in spam messages posted to Creators.com in the past.
- Personal attacks on Creators talent or other commenters, off-topic or
disruptive behavior, and advertising unapproved sites or services will not be tolerated.
- In addition, Creators.com reserves the right to remove any comment deemed to be inappropriate for whatever reason at any time with no notice.
- Extensive abuse of the comment system will result in a user account ban. While banned, user accounts cannot post comments. Ban lengths depend on the severity of the reason for banning. Attempts to evade bans will result in more bans.
- In order to submit a comment you will need to create an account, which requires you to submit a username, password, and valid email address. We will not abuse your email address, and it will not appear in any comments that you post. See our Privacy Policy for more details.
Please be aware that the columnists may or may not review the comments posted on their page, so the comments section of a column is not a reliable means of contacting its author. If you would like to contact a columnist, you may use the "Write the Author" link on the columnists' page, or send an email to info@creators.com with the name of the author you wish to contact in the subject line.
If you have further questions or have problems with the comments, please email webmaster@creators.com.
